This training is for girls entering grades 8 – 9 and is for the camper who is ready to take on a leadership role and help younger girls enjoy all the great experiences day camp has to offer. This one-week training prepares girls to work as Cadette Program Aides (PA’s) at Day Camp. Program content covers camp craft skills, outdoor cooking, teaching techniques and program progression. SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION REQUIRES DAILY ATTENDANCE AND AN OVERNIGHT ON WEDNESDAY OF THE CAMP WEEK. Upon completion of Program Aide Training at Day Camp, girls may register for one week of service hours (see schedule below).
