OUTDOOR MODULE 2 - CABIN CAMPING Spring/Summer Session

Dates: Wed 7/14/10 8:30 am-12:30 pm

Location: Joliet Regional Service Center/Annex Building

Grades: K-12

Cost: Adults: $10.00

This hands-on, fast-paced session prepares the leader to cabin camp and cook with charcoal. Several outdoor cooking methods will be practiced, such as propane stove, box oven, and Dutch oven. Outdoor progressions and readiness will be discussed together with a ceremonial campfire. Who: At least one leader in each troop/group who wants to go camping. Prereq: Outdoor Module 1
